Born in Staten Island, relocated to Indianapolis, raised by his chemical engineer father and an artist, his mother of seven, otto has always had an unusual way about him. His mother told him that he'd grow up to be a “special little flower, a Glad-I-Did,” and that he'd never be a “Wish-I'd-Done.” Well, here he is… all grown up - emceeing at several venues, usually performing 5+ times a week for his fans (whether it is stand up or leading his rockabilly band, otto and the gearheads), showing his art in local galleries and coffee houses, or acting in another movie, this guy is unstoppable and full of positive molecules. (If you don't believe him, touch him after one of his shows. He feels great).

Since the first day he stepped onto the stage, his life has become a virtual whirlwind of performances. His fans can't seem to get enough. An audience member e-mailed otto's manager and said, “I'm home sick today because I got really bad food poisoning at the club last night, but otto was worth it.”

otto's not just a funny guy. He is known by all that he meets to be one of the nicest, most genuine people that one could ever encounter. As written by Steve Carr, comedy critic for NUVO, September 4-11, 2002 issue, “While too many comedians are trying to perfect a shtick, or an angle or a stage persona, otto comes across as 100 percent authentic. There is nothing contrived about him. And, it doesn't hurt that he's really funny.”
